The latest statistics (2) inform us that, on average, 19 hours of online video are viewed per week (a growth of 52% in the past two years), 96% of people have watched an explaining video to learn more about a product, and 84% of people say that they’ve been convinced to buy a product by watching a brand’s video.
In addition, when asked how they’d most like to learn about a product, two-thirds of people (66%) said they’d prefer to watch a short video rather than read a text-based article (18%) or be contacted for a sales call or demo (2%).
